Mainframe Training Overview

This class is oriented to the advanced Assembler language programmer that includes updated information relating to features with HLASM and the requirements of processing different file types within programs. Specific topics will include dynamic allocation, data in virtual, and the data management macros for various files. In addition, the discussion will include topics that deal with sequential files, VSAM, linear data sets, PDSE, and VSAM data striping. This course is a workshop environment where classroom projects will involve writing programs to process records in the various file formats.
