Unisys Mainframe Training Course Objectives & Topics

  • Describe Methods to Dynamically Expand SGSs
  • Use Pre-defined SGS References
  • Solve the SGS Issues: When you need to attach a known label OR you have more than one SGS source
  • Scan Directives and Stop the Scan
  • Describe and Use Variable Values: Decimal Numbers and Strings/Hexadecimal/Octal/Binary
  • Correctly Utilize Functions and Global Variables & Functions That May Return Zero (0)
  • Recognize and Use the Bracketed Expressions Restrictions
  • Create Subroutines Where Multiple Skeletons May Use the Same Subroutine
  • Construct Parameters to Pass to a Subroutine
  • Describe Permanent & Temporary Corrections Sets
  • Specify and Use Options for File Identification Statements
