Symantec Training Overview
This course provides instruction on the functionality & administration of Symantec NetBackup 7.x software. This course is designed to give you knowledge of the general principles of using Netbackup to develop and implement a storage management strategy
Symantec Training Audience
This course is for system administrators, system engineers and technical support personnel, and system integration staff who are responsible for the design, performance optimization, and troubleshooting of VERITAS NetBackup.
Symantec Training Prerequisites
Students should be familiar with the BasicOS (Windows/Unix) and Network administration and configuration.
Labs
Netbackup lab session will be done using Virtual environment which will consist of 3 VMs (Master, Media, Client) and Fire streamer VTL. Lab will be covered for all the topics.
