Mainframe Training Overview

This course addresses the Main Goals of a Successful Project (Successful Project Manager) - "to deliver a quality product, on time, within budget."

A series of short lectures, discussions, and workshop exercises provide the tools, techniques and approaches for counteracting cost overruns, late deliverables, and low quality.

The Whos, Whats, Whys, Wheres, Whens, and Hows of a successful project are covered for each of the major topic areas of -

        - Planning tools and techniques

        - Organizing a project

        - Leading a team

        - Controlling and tracking project activities

        - Using a Project Development Life Cycle as a road map

        - Delivering the Major products of each phase.

Other important areas presented are project charter, statement of work, work breakdown structure, network diagram, estimates, schedules, management reporting tools, change management, risk analysis, and independent auditing.
