This one-day course teaches you how to take your SharePoint site further by building on theories learned in the Level 1 class. This course is geared toward the non-technical person who wants to design, edit and manage content on a SharePoint site once the backend SharePoint server has been set up. This class works in the 2010 Foundations environment, but the same features can be used in Standard 2010. Learn how to use InfoPath forms and workflows for basic office processes, creating dashboards, creating view filters, using content types, creating filter dashboards, using and creating site templates, site design considerations, when to use blogs vs. wikis vs. discussion boards.

Non-IT administrator who wants to design, edit and manage content on a SharePoint site once the backend SharePoint server has been set up.
SharePoint Training Prerequisites
Proficient in using a mouse and keyboard, and proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook programs. Should be comfortable in creating content on a SharePoint site (libraries, lists, etc.) as well as building pages by adding webparts. General understanding of site components and navigation including how to customize the top link bar and Quick Launch menu.
