Project Management / Business Training Overview

This course expands upon the basic concepts of project management you discovered in the Project Management Fundamentals course and covers in-depth the essential elements of managing a successful project. Focusing on the generally accepted practices of project management recognized by the Project Management Institute, Inc. (PMI®), this course offers you a standards-based approach to successful project management across application areas and industries.
Prerequisites
To ensure your success, we recommend you first take the following courses or have equivalent knowledge:

- Microsoft Project 2000 Level One

This course is designed for experienced project managers who desire to increase their project management skills and apply a standards-based approach to project management.

Hardware Requirements
An overhead projector, a calculator, and a computer for the instructor and each student. Each computer's hardware must be on the Windows 98 Second Edition Hardware Compatibility List (HCL) and meet or exceed the following specifications:
- Pentium 133 MHz processor
- 32MB of RAM
- 3.2 GB hard disk
- 12x CD-ROM drive
- 3.5” high-density disk drive
- VGA monitor supporting 800 x 600 resolution and 256 colors
- Keyboard
- Mouse
