Project Management / Business Training Overview
You will apply the generally recognized practices of project time management acknowledged by the Project Management Institute (PMI) to schedule projects successfully.
Target Student;
This course is designed for persons who have on the job experience performing project management tasks, whether or not project manager is their formal job role, who may or may not be certified project management professionals or have received formal project management training. The course is appropriate for these persons if they wish to develop professionally, increase their project management skills, apply a formalized and standards-based approach to project management, seek career advancement by moving into a formal Project Manager job role, as well as to apply for Project Management Institute, Inc. PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) Certification.
Prerequisites:
Familiarity with project management concepts and some working experience with project management is required. Working knowledge of office productivity tools is desirable but not essential. Experience with a specific project management software tool is not required. It is recommended that you take the following Element K course: Project Management Fundamentals (PMF) Second Edition.

- PC with Intel® Pentium® II 300 MHz processor or higher
- 64 MB of RAM with 1.0 GB of free hard disk space or higher
- CD-ROM drive
- Super VGA recommended (set at least to 800 x 600 screen resolution) with 256 colors

Certification
The PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)® Certification course is designed to help you prepare for the PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)® Certification. Taking this course and using this student guide will help you prepare for the certification.
