Lotus Training Overview

During this course you will learn about the advanced options you can select when you send mail. You will learn new ways to respond to messages you receive and establish Mail Rules to automatically process incoming messages.

Because Mail is a key business application, you will learn how to archive important messages.

You will learn how to configure your Calendar and about the advanced options you can select when scheduling Appointments and creating To Do’s.

This course also teaches how to delegate your Mail and Calendar and how to work in another person’s Mail if you have been delegated the responsibility of acting on their behalf.

Lotus Training Learning Objectives

In this course, you will learn how to:

  • configure user preferences, Mail preferences, and delivery options
  • create and use stationery to send boilerplate memos
  • define basic Mail Rules to perform operations on incoming messages and to help eliminate spam
  • archive messages into a local Archive database
  • configure Instant Messaging preferences
  • delegate your Calendar and Mail to a colleague when you are unable to respond personally.

This course is designed for Lotus Notes users who have mastered basic Mail and Calendar operations and who want to understand all the options and preferences related to these features. This course also contains valuable information for administrative assistants who have been delegated responsibility for their manager's mail.
