Overview
In this course, participants will learn the key concepts and expertise necessary to manage and maintain robust data processing applications using Apache Hadoop.

- Understand the Fundamentals of MapReduce and Hadoop 1x Architecture.
- Have solid awareness of HDFS Internals
- Be familiar with the Architecture of Hadoop 2x (YARN).

- Perform basic Troubleshooting of Hadoop
- Understand different Hadoop flavors and implementations

Pre-requisites
- Knowledge of Java concepts from an administration perspective is strongly recommended and is required to complete many hands-on exercises.
- However, people with non-java background will be provided adequate assistance / guidance / instructions as well.
- Prior knowledge of Apache Hadoop is not required.
- Basic UNIX or Linux command-line navigation and administration skills
- Fundamental data related concepts
- Awareness of the need for BigData solutions
