Oracle Training Overview
Oracle8i is the new version of the Oracle server, Oracle8.1.x. This seminar will teach you the critical new features in 8i such as embedded Java, temporary tables and more. Considering the convergence of Oracle, Java and other object technologies (e.g. CORBA) and the complications this can introduce into the learning curve, this class will also help the student understand what additional training paths may be required.
Oracle Training Prerequisites
Hands-on experience with a previous version of Oracle. Familiarity with Oracle8 features such as partitioning is helpful, though not absolutely necessary.
