Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

- become familiar with some techniques for editing and modifying
documents.

- change the appearance of a document at the page level.
- enhance a document and check it for potential errors.

Platform Requirements
- Windows XP Professional. This course was written using the Windows
XP Professional operating system with SP1 installed. WordPerfect 12 will run
on Windows 2000 with SP3, Windows NT 4 with SP6a, Windows 98 SE or Windows
ME. However, using this course with other operating systems or configurations
may affect how the activities work.
Hardware Requirements
- Personal computer with Pentium 166 MHz processor or equivalent.
- Minimum of 64 MB of RAM (128 MB recommended).
- 330 MB of free hard-disk space. Space requirement may vary
by configuration.
- Either a local CD-ROM drive or access to a networked CD-ROM
drive.
- A two-button mouse, an IntelliMouse, or compatible pointing
device.
- Super VGA, 16-bit color monitor supporting 800x600 or higher
resolution.
Software Requirements
- A Custom Setup of WordPerfect Office 12. See the Class Requirements
section for details.
- An installed printer driver. (Printers are not required; however,
each PC must have an installed printer driver to use Print Preview.)
