Hardware Requirements/software required to run this course
You will need
- A minimum of 8 megabytes (MB) of Random Access Memory (RAM)
- A minimum of 55 MB of hard-disk space to install Word and to copy data files
- An IBM-compatible PC with an 80486SX or higher processor
- Microsoft Windows 95
- Microsoft Office 97
- A VGA or higher display adapter (The EGA display adapter is not supported.)
- A two-button mouse or IntelliMouse
- A floppy-disk drive
- A CD-ROM drive
- Printers are not required, although you will need an installed printer driver
- This course was developed using the Microsoft Office version of Word 97. If
you use the stand alone version of Word 97, you might notice differences.
- This course was written using the Windows 95 platform; however, the manufacturer’s
documentation states that it can also be used with Windows NT.
