Corel Training Description
In this course, you will build on the skills learned in the Corel Ventura® 10: Level 1 course. You will learn advanced techniques to efficiently create complex layouts and format type consistently throughout a layout. You will also learn techniques for creating and organizing long documents.
Corel Training Prerequisites
To ensure your success, you must complete the following course or have equivalent knowledge:
- Corel Ventura® 10: Level 1
Delivery Method
Instructor-led, group-paced, classroom-delivery learning model with structured, hands-on activities.
Target Student
This course is designed for students who have completed the Corel Ventura 10: Level 1 course, and who want to learn additional techniques for laying out documents efficiently and consistently
Hardware /Software Requirements
You will need:
- An Intel Pentium Processor or equivalent 233+ MHz.
- Windows 2000 or Windows XP.
- At least 128 MB of RAM.
- At least 165 MB hard disk space.
- A CD-ROM Drive.
- An SVGA Monitor with at least 800 x 600 resolution.
- Corel Ventura 10.
Performance-Based Objectives
- Create multiple page tags for efficient page layout.
- Use advanced paragraph tag techniques to automate formatting.
- Use the Find & Replace command to replace text and correct formatting errors.
- Create libraries to hold frequently used text and pictures.
- Create and edit Bézier paths to form irregular shapes and to flow text on curves.
- Create tables of contents and indexes in long documents.
Benefits:
After completing this course, students will be able to create and format long documents efficiently and consistently. Students will be able to create custom frames of any shape. Students will be able to manage long documents that include tables of contents and indexes.
