Corel Training Description

This iGrafx® FlowCharter™ 2003 course is a hands-on instruction book that will introduce you to the basics of the iGrafx® FlowCharter™ 2003 application package.

Corel Training Prerequisites

To ensure your success, we recommend you first take the following course or have equivalent knowledge:

  • Windows XP: Introduction
Delivery Method

Instructor-led, group-paced, classroom-delivery learning model with structured hands-on activities.

Target Student

Anyone who wishes to create diagrams using iGrafx FlowCharter, but who has little to no experience using the program, is an ideal candidate for taking this course.

Hardware /Software Requirements

You will need:

  • A Pentium II processor, 200 MHz or higher.
  • A minimum of 128 MB of RAM (required for Windows XP).
  • A minimum of 100 MB of hard disk space for iGrafx FlowCharter 2003, after the Windows operating system is installed.
  • Either a local CD-ROM drive or access to a networked CD-ROM drive.
  • A mouse.
  • A 14.4 Kbps or higher modem. An Internet connection with access to the World Wide Web is necessary to complete a portion of the “Publishing and Printing Diagrams” lesson. (Note: Internet access may require payment of a separate fee to a service provider; local charges may also apply).
  • A Typical installation of the Windows XP operating system.
  • An Automatic installation of iGrafx FlowCharter 2003.
  • A Typical installation of Microsoft PowerPoint 2000 is necessary to complete a portion of the “Publishing and Printing Diagrams” lesson.
Performance-Based Objectives
  • Identify the components of the FlowCharter environment, open and close diagrams, and find information by using Help.
  • Create a basic diagram.
  • Create, edit, and format a process diagram.
  • Create and edit a Cause-&-Effect diagram.
  • Create, edit, and format an organization chart diagram.
  • Publish diagrams to the Web and Office applications and print large diagrams.
Benefits:

Students will use iGrafx FlowCharter to create, edit, format, publish, and print multiple types of diagrams—from basic diagrams and process diagrams to Cause-&-Effect diagrams and organization chart diagrams.
