CorelDRAW X3: Level 2
Corel Training Description

In CorelDRAW® X3: Level 1, you created, edited, formatted, and printed basic drawings. You now have a need to create a complicated brochure for a client. In CorelDRAW® X3: Level 2, you will use CorelDRAW X3 to create the brochure and enhance its appearance with advanced colors, charts, graphics, and formulas.

Corel Training Objective

You will work with layers in the CorelDRAW X3 application, use advanced tools for creating drawings, advanced output options for printing, and advanced techniques for text manipulation. In addition, you will also work with bitmap and vector graphics, simplify your tasks using VBA macros, and finalize the brochure for printing.

Corel Training Prerequisites

Students are expected to have some basic knowledge of PC, like, basic understanding of the computer's operating system, how to launch an application, create and save files, copy files from CDs and other media, and should have taken CorelDRAW X3: Level 1 course.

Delivery Method

Instructor led, group-paced, classroom-delivery learning model with structured hands-on activities.

Target Student

This course is designed for students who are already graphic designers, or people transiting into a design job, or taking on design responsibilities. It is also meant for students who have some experience with previous versions of CorelDRAW X3 and want to use CorelDRAW X3 to create illustrations, logos, advertisements, or other graphic design documents.

Hardware Requirements

  • Pentium IV 1.5 GHz processor (2 GHz recommended)
  • 512 MB RAM
  • 1.5 GB disk space or higher
  • CD-ROM or DVD drive
  • Mouse or other pointing device
  • VGA or higher video adapter and monitor
  • Keyboard or other input device
  • Network cards and cabling for local network access
  • Internet access (see your local network administrator)
  • Printer
  • Projection system to display the instructor's computer screen
