Corel Training Description
Corel® DESIGNER™ 10: Level 1 is a hands-on instruction book that will introduce you to the basics of the Corel® DESIGNER™ 10 application package. Corel DESIGNER is a sophisticated graphics program capable of creating complex technical illustrations and annotated illustrations. In this course, you will learn many of the basic skills that will allow you to take advantage of the powerful tools of Corel DESIGNER.
Corel Training Prerequisites
To ensure your success, you must have a basic understanding of your computer's operating system. For example, you should know how to launch an application, create and save files, and copy files from CDs and other media

Hardware /Software Requirements
You will need:
- An Intel Pentium II, III, or 4 processor, 200 MHz or greater.
- Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Me, Windows 2000 with the latest Service Pack, Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 6, or Windows 98.
- At least 128 MB of RAM.
- At least 200 MB of available hard-disk space.
- A mouse or tablet.
- A CD-ROM drive.
- A color monitor capable of at least 1024 x 768 resolution.
- The latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- The latest version of either Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer and a working Internet connection.
- Corel® DESIGNER™ 10.
Performance-Based Objectives
- Navigate in the Corel DESIGNER environment.
- Create a new document and work with templates.
- Import data.
- Create geometric objects.
- Edit lines, arcs, and freeform shapes.
- Format geometric objects.
- Enter and format text in an illustration.
- Annotate illustrations using callouts, dimension lines, and connector lines.
- Prepare Corel DESIGNER files for print, PDF generation, and use in other applications.
