Adobe Training Description

You are starting to familiarize yourself with image editing using Photoshop. You would like to learn about the tools and features available to you in Photoshop CS2. In this course, you'll work with some of the tools and features to edit images using Photoshop CS2.

Adobe Training Objective

You will use Photoshop CS2 tools for painting, retouching, and enhancing images. In addition, you will work with layers and layer selections.

Adobe Training Prerequisites

Basic PC skills are necessary to complete this course. These skills include: a basic understanding of a computer's operating system, launching an application, creating and saving files, and copying files from CD-ROMs and other media.

Delivery Method

Instructor led, group-paced, classroom-delivery learning model with structured hands-on activities.

Target Student

This course is targeted to the design professional who wants to create and design graphics using Photoshop CS2 for final print and web output. Target customers are advertising agencies, marketing agencies, production houses, or departments that work in such disciplines within the larger organization.

Hardware Requirements

  • Macintosh PowerPC G4 or G5 processor.
  • 384MB of RAM to run any one creative application with Adobe Bridge and Version Cue Workspace.
  • 750MB of available hard-disk space.
  • 1,024x768 monitor resolution with 16-bit video card (24-bit screen display recommended).
  • CD-ROM drive.
