This course is designed for a person who has already worked with the earlier versions of Illustrator, ideally Illustrator CS and would like to upgrade to Illustrator CS2.

Performance-Based Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- customize and manage the Illustrator work area.
- use the Live Trace command to trace images and create detailed vector graphics that are easy to edit, size, and manipulate without distortion.
- paint vector graphics using the Live Paint feature. You will also automatically detect and correct the gaps in the objects to color it neatly.
- enhance objects, such as shapes, text, and images using the new features in Illustrator CS2.
- manage your creative assets using Adobe Bridge.
- create PDF files and also edit PDF files in Illustrator.
- save rich graphical content in SVG-Tiny format and also export Adobe Illustrator artwork as SWF (Flash) files.
