Adobe Training Description

You have created documents using other word processing applications. Now, you want to work with documents using an application that has a wide range of techniques to organize information across documents. In this course, you will create documents using the tools in Adobe® FrameMaker® 8.0: Level 1.

Adobe Training Objective

You will use FrameMaker to create simple documents and export FrameMaker documents to XML, HTML, and PDF formats.

Target Student

Students who want to grasp a general overview of the main techniques used to create simple documents and export FrameMaker documents to XML, HTML, and PDF formats.

Adobe Training Prerequisites

Students must be familiar with Microsoft Windows XP, 2000 or Vista, and a word processing software such as Microsoft Word.

Delivery Method

Instructor led, group-paced, classroom-delivery learning model with structured hands-on activities.

Hardware Requirements

  • An Intel® Pentium® 4, Intel Centrino®, Intel Xeon®, or Intel Core™ Duo (or compatible) processor.
  • 256 MB of RAM (512 MB recommended).
  • 1.8 GB of available hard-disk space (additional free space required during installation).
  • A color monitor with a 16-bit or greater video card.
  • A monitor with 1024 x 768 monitor resolution.
  • A CD-ROM drive.
  • Internet or phone connection required for product activation.
  • A printer (optional) or an installed printer driver.
