After Effects 5.0 Introduction is a hands-on instruction book that will introduce students to the world of 2D motion graphics, compositing, and visual effects.
Adobe Training Prerequisites
Although not necessary, most students will find a general graphics background and experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or Premiere helpful.

You will need

- A Pentium II or faster processor (multiprocessor recommended).
- At least 128 megabytes (MB) of random access memory (RAM) (256 MB recommended).
- At least 120 MB of available hard-disk space.
- A color monitor (1024 x 768 resolution, 24-bit color recommended).
- A CD-ROM drive.
- Apple QuickTime 4.1 (or later).
- A sound card capable of producing 16-bit Mono audio and speakers (internal or external).
